What we've done so far

We landed here on Thursday, 28th Feb, since then we have spent a lot of our time trying to plan our way around Indonesia. On Thursday we also went to downtown Nadi, it was "interesting". We spent Firday just hanging around the resort, playing in the pool, Ricky went kayaking and we both got pretty burnt. Saturday was yet another relaxing day in the pool and a short trip back to downtown. A lot busier this time, probably because of the weekend, and we went back to buy some really yummy red sweet things, don't really know what they are but they taste good. We also stocked up on some bottled water and snacks, the island we're going to has all inclusive meals, but we thought we'd stock up anyway. This morning (Sunday) Iwoke up pretty burnt still from Friday with about 20 mosquito bites and a weird rash making it up both my arms. I don't think I'm built for tropical climates (thanks mum and dad!).

Finally in Fiji

We landed in Fiji really early this morning, trying to upload pictures but it's not really working. Not much to do other than sit back and relax. We've just booked to stay on a small island for the 2nd half of our Fiji stay.

Interenet in Fiji is pretty slow, so may wait until Australia for another blog.

Last Days

Only a few days left until our first flight. Today was our last day at work. Both excited to go on holiday but sad to be having to leave these lovely people behind (they'll definately be glad to see themselves up here). Doing some fishing tomorrow then moving all our stuff out of the apartment.

We fly to Fiji on 24 Feb and land there on 26 Feb, so probably won't be posting anything again until at least then.

Extended Vacation

Hi,

In about a week we are off travelling around Australia and Asia. We set up this blog so you can follow where we are throughout the trip. To the right is a rought idea of the countries we are going to try and hit along the way.

Both of us are super excited and are spending all presidents weekend getting the last things together for the trip.

If anyone can give us advise on where to go and what to see, let us know.
