Here is a picture of the Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur and a picture of us in the jungle. Don't be fooled by the smiles, we had a 7-8 hour hike, up and down, up and down we got super tired and eaten by leeches. I screamed everytime I saw one on my shoe, Ricky was trying to get me to calm down, but when you see that little wormy thing crawling towards your leg wanting to suck all your blood, you panic. We had fun though, saw some monkeys and a cat looking thing, but we don't really know what it was. We are now in the very north of Malaysia and are going over to Thailand tomorrow.

Leeches suck, litterally!

Currently in Malaysia
Unfortunately if having trouble uploading pictures today, but here's a quick update. We spent 2 days in Singapore, visiting an island called Sentosa and just generally trying to catch up on some needed sleep. We got the bus up to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and really like it here. We've visited the National Monument and the Petronas towers (you may know them from the film Entrapment) and bought some really really cheap software. Tomorrow we are planning on heading into the rainforest and spending a few nights there before trying to head up to Thailand.
Hopefully we'll be able to post photos soon, but doubt the Jungle has internet.

We are still alive!
Sorry for being gone so long. Since our last post we have been to Brisbane, Cairns and Sydney in Australia. We are now in Indonesia. Started off in Kuta, Bali then went on to Yogyakarta, Java and we are currently in Jakarta, Java the capital. Tomorrow we are of to Batam which is a small island off the coast of Singapore, so we might be able to get to Singapore tomorrow afternoon.
We really liked Australia, if we had to live anywhere other than California (or England - Ruth) it would be Australia, probably Brisbane. As you can see in one of the photos, we went scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef. If you look closely to the right of me pointing, we did see a turtle. It was so much fun. Sydney was cool we visited the Featherdale Wildlife park. We got to stroke koalas and feed kangaroos, the one I feed has a baby in it's pouch, you can see it if you look closely. We also took a boat across the harbor to see the bridge and opera house. Sydney is very big and we did a lot if walking. Also saw a big St. Paddy's day party (there are so many Irish people in Australia, we never realised).
We only spent one night in Bali, but we are very impressed with how cheap eveything is in Indonesia. We took a 15 hour coach journey to Yogyakarta where we went to see some Buddist and Hindu temples. This morning we spent 8 hours on a train and have now finally arrived in Jakarta. We're not really spending time here, it's just a big busy capital with not much to see. We fly out to Batam, still part of Indonesia, tomorrow so we can get a boat across to Singapore. I don't want to leave Indonesia, it's so cheap. We managed to get chicken fried rice for 50c each and a soda is about 60c. A 2 litre bottle of water costs between 20-40c. It's crazy how cheap it is here and how friendly the people are. We've made a lot of new friends who are trying to practice their English and they all want photos with us, as if we're celebrities. Plus whenever we say we're from California, the first replay we get is "Obama, we love Obama". The whole world seems to have gone Obama mad.
Will try and post again soon.

We've spent the last 4 days chilling on a very small island in Fiji called Beachcomber. We spent the whole time relaxing, snorkelling, fishfeeding, kayaking and everything else you would do at a beach.
We're now in Brisbane, Australia enjoying cooler weather for the next week before we head off into Asia. I've got to say that Brisbane feels like any other American city, but it's nice to have the change.
